Johan holds a doctorate in Expert Support Systems from the University of Johannesburg. He spent several years as an advisory consultant specialising in future proof IT Strategy, IT Governance, Risk, Compliance and Security for PwC, Ernst & Young and Deloitte and ran several programmes for ABSA Bank, Barclays, Standard Bank and Discovery Bank. Some of his experience include the role of Group CIO of a multi-national bank in Africa. For the last few years he consulted as CTO for two of the largest international BPO’s in South Africa. Johan is a thought leader in future proof Fintech companies and financial switching systems using artificial intelligence or human expert support systems. He is extremely passionate about alleviating global poverty through the patented technology of POLC.

Huw Hughes

Huw is a senior finance leader with over 30 years of work experience. He has held finance executive

roles in Europe, USA and the Middle East. Having worked his way up to senior finance roles over a period of 20 years in the automotive industry working for Jaguar and Ford, Huw subsequently took on senior roles in the Middle East working for Dow Jones listed Estee Lauder, DAX listed Bilfinger SE and FTSE listed ISG PLC.

In his most recent role he was Divisional CFO at Alshaya Group, a 60,000 employee company

based in the Middle East. He is an avid follower of sports and a lover of the great outdoors.

After a successful professional squash career competing globally for 15 years, Adrian turned his attention to the investment arena. Adrian has been working in Private Client Asset Management investing clients funds on global stock markets for more than 16 years.  Having co-founded Knight Capital in 2017 Adrian has forged strong relationships with stockbrokers, bankers and service providers for the benefit of clients and has developed an advanced understanding of the financial services sector. He is a Trustee on various foundation and financial trusts. Adrian still enjoys playing squash, golf and has a keen interest in all sports.

Adrian won 14 PSA World Tour Titles. He has won over 50 European Tournaments. Swiss Open Winner 1997 and 2000. Italian Open Winner 1999. Liechtenstein National Coach 1999-2002, 2004 to 2005. Current South African National Coach as well as the U19 Boys National Coach. 2018 World Masters Bronze Medallist. 2016 World Masters Silver Medallist. SA No.1 squash player for 14 years. SA Player of the Year x 4. SA National Champion x 3. Won 7/7 matches for South Africa at the 2007 World Team Championships in Chennai. Won 29/31 matches for South Africa at 6 World Team Championships. Captained KZN to 7 Jarvis Cup Titles and winning his 100th Jarvis Cup A section match in 2023. In 2022 he was the Silver Medalist in the World Masters tournament in Poland.  

Adrian is also a Global Sportbot Professional Ambassador in Squash.

With a great passion for golf and other sports, and 28 years of experience in the IT industry, Mark founded a golf tech and game improvement company that aims to help golfers of all levels achieve their full potential by creating digital profiles and baselines through data analysis on and off the course. This has enabled Mark to build many personal and professional relationships within the sporting world.

Being an optometrist has taught him that communication and connecting with people is crucial to success and that is what
he brings with him. He represented
his school at provincial and national level in rugby and triathlon. Glenn currently enjoys a good game of tennis or golf when time allows.  Glenn is the CEO for Sportbot in South Africa.

Mark holds a BSc Administration degree from Wake Forest University in the USA. 35 year golf industry veteran having built a deep network of key industry Relationships and Friendships. He started his career running professional golf tournaments on the PGA and LPGA Tours, building high level relationships throughout the golf industry. This led to an introduction to the founding team of the Golf Channel. As a Senior-level executive that launched the Golf Channel cable television network in 1995 with Arnold Palmer, he was part of an incredible team that help build the Golf Channel brand and take it from 0 to over 100 million households and build total revenues to over $500 million. Mark managed top level strategic partnerships and rights holder relationships with the PGA Tour, Champions Tour, Nationwide Tour, LPGA Tour, PGA of America, United States Golf Association, European PGA Tour and Canadian PGA Tour. Most recently, he has worked with the Bobby Jones Links, a solutions and management company based in Atlanta, canvassing and building relationships with clubs and courses across the country.

Mark holds Dr. Gylton Da Matta is currently a Professor of Coaching Education at University of Nebraska – Lincoln – Coaching Collegiate and Athletics Administration. He is also the SportsEdTV Director of Volleyball SportsEdTV Foundation – Chairman/President at SportsEdTV.
Gylton is an international sports science consultant, with expertise in talent development research in Sports Pedagogy and Kinesiology. Gylton has taught at the University of Wyoming, University of Northern Colorado, Georgia Southern University, Newberry College, Appalachian State University and at the University of South Carolina. Currently, Gylton teaches coaching expertise at the Colorado State University, where he also coaches the Men’s Club volleyball team. He consults for players, coaches and parents from the Brazilian, Canadian, Danish, Greek Argentine Volleyball Federation and volunteers for USA High Performance Volleyball. Gylton is a three-time Brazilian National Champion as a setter and team captain. Since 1986, he has coached volleyball at all levels. In 2005 he coached the USAVb South Carolina Juniors/Bameso at the women’s volleyball National Championship team, winning the national title at the Open Division. Academically, Gylton has published articles on Education, Sports Pedagogy and Coaching. As a practitioner however, he has worked in the Olympic Development program in Brazilian volleyball developing several expert coaches and revealing three gold medalists Olympians. Gylton is a lecturer for the International Olympic Academy as well as a researcher on Olympic studies, sports sociology and applied technology. In 2013, Gylton was a FIVB (International Volleyball Federation) delegate as technical development member for the U23 Men’s Volleyball World Championship in Brazil and also lectured at the International Eastern Asian Olympic Academy in Singapore on community Olympic development centers (Olympism in action at neighbourhoods). Gylton is a founder of the Youth Sports Academy and the International Youth Olympic Sports Exchange (iYOSE) based in Fort Collins. Gylton is originally from Brazil; he loves international education through study abroad programs and is married to Dr. Louise Jennings.

Heather is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand having qualified as an Organisational Psychologist and is registered with the Health Professional Council of South Africa.  She has 20+ years’ experience operating as a Human Resource professional and has worked in global organisations across the world.  She has acquired experience form many industries, in senior positions that have equipped her with extensive experience in all aspects of Human Resources.  She has operated at an executive level with frequent interaction at board and chairman level.  The global companies that she has worked for are Coca-Cola, Standard Chartered and AngloGold Ashanti. She has managerial and leadership skills having managed and led teams of a diverse nature across the world.
